help installing x3 lcd

I just received my lcd, tested it,working perfect. Now I need help,diagrams etc on the best way to attach it to the front of the xbox. I know I will need to cut out a hole for it but the metal strip seems too close to adequately fit the lcd.What is the best way to remove this ? Thanks

Just use some tin snips, you can get them from Home Depot.

Dremel works the best. but tin snips work
also get some sand paper, cut a hole that is not as big as the X3 LCD and then sand the rest untill it fits nice.
