OK i've flashed a few drives before. Just flashed a friends benq drive. Got a new xbox (phat) with a Liteon 8v1 drive. I using laptop, sata card, ck3 pro, and ck3 probe 3. I went ahead and updated xbox to newest dashboard online. Then i went and got the key off of the drive (so i have key saved for this drive). Went to Liteon Erase drive went into vendor mode then jf froze up. restarted my computer and now jf doesnt see my drive anymore. I tried to hit the intro/device ID button, and also tried Liteon-erase again and still nothing. going to post the JF log. Can someone please help me out! thanx

Alsoi cant wait for a TX robot that can take the xbox apart and then flash the drive and put it back together (Be made by TX in 2020)
with kids just starting school, play football, soccer, cheerleading, birthdays, just dont have funds right this second to get one. I plan on getting on real soon but want help with what i presently have. I just flashed a benq 30min before this happened. can someone please help me

the problem is with on board Sata's they can be intermittent and work with one kind of drive but not the other. i would suggest you try restarting the laptop, and update the sata drivers if needed.
all i know is the drive is not dead and you need to use the liteon erase button. but remember to load your key in the firmware tool section of jungleflasher first. if this fails then the only way is to get a x360usb from somewhere.
I will say this is a chipset issue with your SATA connection.
Many peeps have been able to read their drives but have been unable to erase/write.
If you are going to use your lappy for flashing the best solution is buying a X360USB Pro as the peeps above have advised.
The X360USB Pro resolves all your connectivity issues and it can be updated as the scene moves on.
Have a search for it and you will see how much easier this makes the flashing experience

ok you stated you restarted ur laptop, did you press F8 on start up to disable ? also try the different I/O ports before you do liteon erase.
