I have a version 1.2 or 1.3 X-box. I just recently purchased an Xecuter 3 ce chip Solderless Combo package. I have installed xapt3r and modchip. The cromwell bios screen loaded and I flashed the chip. It completed the flash and shut down by itself. Now I turn it on and it reboots three times and on the third time stays on with a flashing green and red on the eject button. When I remove the chip it boots up with the regular X-box logo and then a service code 05.
Had a spider chip in it before that worked with the same bios but that chip had issues when I would move the X-box anywhere so I bought this because I wanted a more secure fit. I have a 250GB harddrive that worked with the previous mod in the X-box. Don't know if I flashed it with the wrong bios or what. Is it possible to reflash with correct bios (if that's my problem) and where can I get it from for this version of chip or do I need to get a new chip? Please help. Thanks.
