Help: Just flashed X3 bios over a 2.6 chip

As I'm new to all this I've just accidently flashed the X3 bios over a 2.6 chip.

Now my Xbox is flashing red/green on boot, if I disable the chip it'll boot back into the MS dashboard OK.

Is there anything I can do get back to the cromwell bios and reflash to the correct bios?

All help would be greatly appreciated.

since you've flashed with a 1mb X3 bios, your only options now are to either get a programmer and flash it with your pc, or do a hotswap with another working chip and box

Ah well... Thanks for all the help mate. I've just ordered a new modchip.

What a silly c**t I am, although the front page of the teamxecuter site could be clearer when it comes to bios for old versions of the chip.

how much clearer do you need it to be? firstly all the readme's for x3 bios's say only to flash it to an X3 chip.

also the clues in the name really.

X3 3294 bios
X2 5035 bios

which bios do you think would be most suitable for an X2 chip?

Sorry *oh heavenly one*... theres no need to be such a smart arse on the Help forums FFS.

you will need to buy a programmer for the x2 or if someone you know has a x2 in there box do a hotswap
