Hi i am trying to chip my new xbox its a 1.4 i think & am trying the solderless adapter & 2.6ce chip, the chip was previously flashed on my old xbox but it was full of marks so decided to get a fresh lookin one!!! When i have put the xapter tightly & firmly secured in the right place & put the chip on, when it powers up it just cuts out after a second whilst making a noise & then it proceeds to do this 2 more times b4 continually flashin green & red on the eject button!! However when i switch to bank 2 it boots up to the flashbios screen 3.0.3 which i believe is for v1.6 & 1.6b!!!
Whats going on??? Do i need a new chip or a programmer to reprogramme it???
