Goodday everyone I'm having some trouble identifying my motherboard, I spent hours searching yesterday and I'm still not wiser. Also there are many possibilities in terms of chips and features which makes it difficult for me to choose but what I really want is to be able to play my backed up games, if you could be so kind to help me that would be appreciated.

The xbox's information:

  • Slim (Halo 4 Edition)
  • Dashboard: 2.0.16747.0
  • Model 1439
  • MFR: 2012-08-30
  • Voltage: 12V
  • Ampere: 9.6A
  • HDD: 320GB

you have a corona v3 there bud

you can tell because you have 16mb tsop nand chip and the post out is removed.

the chart clearly indicates this!!

v3 is older slim
v5 is the newer xbox 360 e

Okay, Version 3. I would like to know, what my options are, what parts would I need to modify my console I saw on this thread that he had the same console as me, after doing some digging I noticed that some parts he listed had gone out of stock because of end of life. That's not really useful there what alternatives are there?

Thats an out dated thread. Try these items, i think they are available from ck3.co.uk (uk/eu) or xconsoles (US).

JR-programmer V2 - read/write nand
CR pro/proto v2 - to glitch hack
post fix adapter

corona QSB kit v3 (optional)

Either nearly everything on your list isn't available at those two stores anymore or my searching abilities are worse then i thought. What about dual nand, would I still require a programmer?

With a demon u can read/write the NAND with that, no separate Jrp needed. U need to log into both those sites I mentioned in order to see their full stock. There is also mrconsoles.com if u in UK. Those sites do get stock back in but Tx is very popular, just have to be patient.

So I only have to order the demon when it comes back in stock and that's all I have to do just solder that to the board and i'm ready no need to add another chip that glitches, or makes my xbox dance to thriller?

U still need a glitch chip and post fix adapter. The demon will act as u'r second Nand and also the nand flasher instead of a Jrp. The benefit is that u can use the stock nand for xbox live and switch to the demon nand for homebrew. But the demon is for professional installation. Do not attempt to install it if u are not confident with your soldering or not familiar with glitch hacking xboxs. If this is u'r first project i wouold wait for the jrp v2 to come back in stock and attempt a straight forward RGH2 hack. Good luck.

Edit: Where u based? just found this on ck3.co.uk https://www.ck3.co.uk/cr3_pro_fullpost_ultimate_kit.html

its got everything u need to get started :)

I'm just a jump away from you in the Netherlands, my solder skills are quite good actually i've done my fair share of SMD soldering but with mod chipping not so much I've managed to completely destroy a slim PS2 in my first attempt of installing a chip, my second attempt was on an old phat which miraculously worked.

I wanted thank you again for the information that you have given me.

I'm in the Netherlands if you need some help with it...if not no problem, just keep it in mind.
