I have tried to flash my xecuter 3 1.6 xbox with evox the M8 bios. I get it ot flash but when i turn on the power it wont load. what am i supposed to have on the disk? do i need a skins folder or anyingthing besides the dummy file and the bios.bin file?

First of all why would anybody use M8 bios with an Xecuter 3...? Just use flashbios, and the best way is just to use the built in web server. This time flash with X3_1959 v1.6 bios.
I'm sure it will fix all your problems plus allow you to use all the great features of the Xecuter 3.

wow i alread flashed it with the xecuter bios i want to put evox on it and u have to use the M8 bios for a 1.6 xbox. even i know that andi know nothing about modding
eh? U have to use M8 bios on a v1.6 xbox???? since when? Just put the evox files on ya hdd and away you go, no need for the M8 bios.

I think I know where some of the confusion is coming from, M8 is required for v1.6 when using an X2.6 not X3.

I've got a question then. This is my first mod so take it easy.

I installed 1959 to banks 5-8. No problems there.
When I used the Slayer installation CD, everything loads fine, but when I reboot, I just see the 1959 screen again. What do I need to change to get Evox to boot up?

Yah you can flash it with iprep. Though, make sure you have the newest update files for ixtreme lt.MODCUS said:

These old programs restored my liteon drive and it is much safer to use.
Anyways you could create a custom firmware in jungleflasher then copy it to the iprep root dir flash drive and use dosflash
