I installed xecuter v.26 ce with solderless adapter xapter v1.6 inside my xbox v1.6 and i am having problems... the eject button is flashing red and green before that it turns itself on off...three times then flashes. i checked all the connections but no joy even took out mod chip still flashes after three attempts of loading...please help me

ime a noob like uand ime gettin the same mod chip tuesday what version xbox do u have hopefully this dosnt happen to me
i tried checking the do wire and no joy just starting up three times then flashing any more suggestions would be helpful....
you gotta give people some time to answer you.....im not good at the soldering part so i'd be of no help.....but i would put $$$ on it that its the D0 thats making it FRAG
i tried putting the do wire on the lpc rebuild that came with the chip should i put the do wire on top of mother board
no put it on the lpc rebuild a lot easyer and thats where it go,s so i take it you are soldering it in

You do realise the X2.6 chip fits the opposite way round to the X3?
If you remove the chip and adapter does it still frag? Do you realise you will need the HD and DVD connected when you try to boot with the chip off?

to answer the first question yes i soldered it on to lpc do and i took the chip out yesterday and it still frag and checked the dvd and hd connection, i am inspecting the mother board now to look for any broken circuits or bridges. thnx.
what are your switch set to try bank 2 red green means bad install but it say counld be bad flash

i have taken out the mod chip and lpc rebuild cleaned all solder connections and still it frags what to do...should i count my losses and get a new xbox???
