I have a xbox 360, bought this june, It has the kernel 9199.
I wanted to flash the dvd drive, but liteon is really complicated, so Im looking to jtag my xbox...
is there a way for me to jtag...and erase the kernel 9199 and put one that can works with homebrews??

I think theres no way to do the jtag hack with that kernel. read the jungleflasher tutorial it will tell you all you need to flash liteons.
the last kernel was 7371 that can be jtaged.

There is no way for you to JTAG that system and there probably never will be - your only option is to flash the drive, which is much easier to do than the JTAG hack anyways.
What type of LiteOn drive does it have?

thanks for the replies, right now, I spent at leat 9 hours!!!! reading places, tutorial and everything to flash my drive,
I have a liteon 93450, another problem, I used jungerflasher to do this, I read the key, manually changed the key from the ixtreme LT 1.1... I erase it, and wrote the new firmware to the 93450 drive, anddddddd I rechecked, the ver. it was Iextreme LT 1.1, with my drive keys...
then, when I put everything togeher, verry excited...
my burned games doesnt work, dvd's and orginal games worked.......
my questions is....how come??? wasnt it supposed to work????

How are you making your game backups - are you using DVD+R DL media?

woohoo I found the solution its the way I burn the games, I used cookies games burner and works now
