Help my Xbox is going CRAZY!!!!

Last night I was watching The Recruit, ad then the movie froze, so I ejected the disc to put it back in and it flashed red/green and I got error 13, so I went to Xbox-Scence.com and got the error code descriptions and figured out it was the dash. So I put the mod chip on and it worked, 5 mins into the part I was at it froze and I got error 13, then I turned it off and It gave me error 7, and after 3 more error 7 messages I turned off the chip to get an error 21 message. Why is my Xbox doing this, It will run DVD's for 5 to 2 hours at a time then act up and later be fine. I haven't gotten around to playing any games since this started but I put in Halo 2 to see if it would even play the disc and it loaded no prob. HELP ME cuz I'm about to punt the stupid thing out the window.

Perhaps your solder points are loose? This can occasionally happen if the solder points are fairly good, but not completely solid. The XBox will run fine for a little while, but then as it heats up, it'll screw with the connections (due to surfaces expanding/contracting with heat). I'm no expert by any means, but I'd try checking the solder points: make sure they are solid, and even if they seem good, just beefing them up a little bit with the iron and a tad bit of solder to seal the deal.

However, if this is not the problem then I'm stumped!
