Help My xbox wont read the burned dvd games

Look ive installed the bios and Evox and made an ftp connection between my computer and my xbox but when i put in the burned xbox dvd in the dvd reader in the xbox it says "cant recognize this cd may be damaged..
please help me with this problem

Explain in more detail, you need an XBOX compatible dvd for it to work, different drives read different media. There are four drives ever made so far. Philips, Thomson, Samsung, Hitachi, none is better than the other, you just need to find out what media yours reads.
Here's a diagram I made to find out what drive you have.
Then search for media compatibility on this site.

Ive just made a ftp between xbox and the pc and just sended my game over (mortal kombat) and the game title shows up in evoX games menu but when i press it i get kicked back to main menu....Could u tell me how i can fix it?
Ps. I puted my games folder in E: cuz F: couldnt be formatted. And i didnt put it in as a iso just extracted the files directly to E:Games

Back to the dvd reading issue my xbox dvd drive is the thompson one. But where can i get a new media for my xbox?
The game needs to be in it's folder (e.g: "Mortal Kombat Deception"), you can't just have the files on the root of your E drive. Try this if you haven't already.

Media means DVD+R's etc, Maplins.co.uk stock a load of DVD's. My thomson reads Sony 650mb 1-4x CD-RW, and TDK 4x DVD+R.
just did it like u said E:games/Mortal Kombat Deception but when i press it the evoX green loading thing shows up then i get kicked back to the menu still, dunno if i really did it right but if you could tell me where there are some tuts or something i would really appriciate it...maybe it could just be a minor problem or something.
Try xbox-scene.com for tutorials.
