Ok lets try this again.
I have the R-Jtag installed and the computer recognizes it. The 1st problem I m having is when I click read Nand I get an error,

Code:
J-Runner v0.2 Beta (289) Started

Filechecks disabled - No Filechecks carried out
Version: 10
Flash Config: 0x00000000
Can not Continue
I have the up to date dashboard

I re-soldered the wires and still the same thing. Now I'm not sure if I was suppose to do anything else prior to this.
Steps taken so far,
Installed all components of R-Jtag Ultimate
Turn on computer, computer recognizes JR programmer.
The rest is in the wind.

What tutorial should be followed when Glitching this box?

One thing I should note is when I plug the power to the Xbox in the Xbox starts right up. It will not power off unless I pull the plug.

Pictures attached.

Thank you to all that can help

I tried that and no go. Im now in the process of moving the CPU_RST to the topside and also checking all solder points again

Edit..I was able to get power to the xbox without it turning on but now the light will not go green like it did.

I haven't touched an rjtag - nor a jr programmer, but my electronic common sense would be to assume that you could read and write the nand using the jr programmer and the qsbs without having to have it glitch or the rjtag installed for that matter, but I could be incorrect in assuming this.

Got it working to where I now have it reading the NANDS. I was able to read them 4 times and compare.
Code:
Comparing...
Nands are the same
I did mess up in order. I read the nands and then thought I was suppose to use rater to determine where I was. I now know this is not correct and now I cannot plug in the xbox power without it starting right away and eventually going to rrod. Is there a way to get past this.

The first question i would ask is did you have that power on problem before you started your mod?

no I did not. I had the block connected to the xbox(Red light on) then I did the reading of the namds. Then after that I screwed up and clicked on rater and started it. When I started it the xbox turned on and now will not turn off unless I pull the plug...I didn't write anything...has me a bit confused to why it would do this.

Your v3 qsb points dont look soldered completely but aside from that do you have your jr programmer disconnected when plugging in the xbox power

The block shouldn't be red. It should be amber(orange) on standby and green on power up....

Take the cords out the qsb. Check all your points and the whole board for a short. I would even disconnect the 5 v from the chip and see if that helps. Even worth a shot removing rf board. Hopefully your southbridge didn't get mucked up

What's the switch on the left of the jrp do? I thought it was supposed to be switched away from the USB port. Not sure that would make a difference but u never know.

Normal /BL mode.

Should be towards USB for Normal Mode.

OP - read my NAND-x troubleshooting guide. Also, have you attempted to write another HEX file to your programmer at any time?

No sir, I have not attempted to write anything. I wasn't sure which guide to follow. I would assume the coolrunner guide would help me with this?

Thanks all for your help so far, Im making baby steps as RGH is new to me. I have done Many PS2 and my PS3 but this is different.
