Lol, I was gonna say, u shouldn't be worrying about soldering in the R-jtag parts befor u'r got the NAND part down. Focus on getting clean reads first. The J1D2 qsb doesnt look completely joined, are u using flux? Maybe try a wires only install of u'r NAND reader to get clean reads and writes, just to rule out the qsb being a problem. Good luck.

Could I just remove the J1D2 and solder wires from the 360 board to the legs on the J1D2? (Follow traces back to legs on the J1D2)?

I would check the soldering for STBY_CLK (the end part from the top long QSB), which TBH didn't need to be soldered anyway.
So the 4th image I have above which is a little blurry I did not need to solder the very end? I would be OK leaving it or better off desoldering it?

Thanks for the feedback

I looked it over pretty good with a magnifying glass and all the pads seemed fine prior to the install as this xbox has not had any soldering done until I installed the boards. I have not removed anything as of yet. I was going to remove the J1D2 and wire from the Xbox to the J1D2 legs and see if I can results that way.

No, it has not turned on for me after I accidently turned it on with everything hooked up. Not sure where that problem came from or what is causing it not to turn on. Either I have something bridged or another short somewhere.

So sure enough there was a pad lifted at the STBY_CLK. So I will have to remove the QSB and make a wire jumper to bypass the lifted pad.

OK, trying to read NAND with just the wires connected from nand points to the jr-programmer. power block is connected but 360 not powered on and this is what I get.

Code:
Filechecks disabled - No Filechecks carried out
Version: 10
Flash Config: 0x00FF0200
IoTimedOut

IoTimedOut:No more bytes!
Reading Nand to C:\Users\Desktop\J-Runner v02 Beta (288) Core Pack\output\nanddump1.bin
Wrong Version.
Version: 00
Wrong Version.
