Help needed with x2.6 and xbox 1.1

I have had my xbox chipped with an Xecuter 2 for a while now although i still use the microsoft dashboard i would like to install the new xecuter two bios and the Evox dashboard so that i can install games on the harddrive could someone please tell me which programmes i would need to do this thanks Xenon

I need to know which version of these programmes to get according to a post on this website.

Come on. Is it really that hard to read? I guess so. Take the following information and do some reading. You will be amazed to see everything you need to know has already been posted on here more times than I care to count.

You want X2 5035, NOT flashbios.
Use Avalaunch or some other newer dashboard.
X2 bios manager is not needed because X2 5035 is already 512k.

Thanks when i turn the HD switch of a bios screen loads up and asks for a cdrom it says at the top 'clean bios' which i assumed meant that it had the one that microsoft installed for shipping but when i insert the cdrom with X2 5035 it says that i need to insert linuxboot.cfg whyt does it say this would it help if i turned the flash protect switch off aswell as the HD switch?

On another post on this forum someone talks about which bank your bios is flashed to how do u change which bank you use and can you flash a bank that already has a bios on it? which programmes would i need to do this and would i need to FTP with my xbox?

At present i think that my bios is flashed on bank 3 because on the chip switch below the actual switch it says HD and when i turn this switch off and boot my xbox a bios screen comes up. I will post a screen shot of the bios screen so that you could give me further information on what i need to do.#

What chip do you have? The X2 series only has two banks. Post a picture of your switch, and chip if you can.

i have realised that now but thanks all the same my updated bios is called 'Xbox Linux Clean Bios 1.8' and it is on bank 2 i cannot flash bank 2 because when i insert a disc with X2 5035 bios on it asks for a disc with this on 'Linuxboot.cfg

I have managed to do it with your help thanks i loaded a programme called ozxchip and then used the x2 5035 bios which installed directly to bank 1 combining the bin file with a dummy file creating an iso this worked really well

Now all i need is another dashboard which one do you have and which do you think is best?

I use Avalaunch. Another good one is UnleashX, but I haven't tried that.

Thanks ill get avalaunch because my friend has it although can you FTP your xbox with your pc using avalaunch?

How would i go about installing avalaunch? and is there a way to install it using a cd because at the moment i cannot ftp because i dont have any other dashboard installed other than the microsoft dashboad and i have updated my bios to the X2 5035 will avalaunch run using this bios?
