HELP! Newbie lost flash bios screen.

I followed the instructions on the team xecuter and xboxscene for flashing the bios. I did as told and dowloaded the bios from xboxscene from the legal bios is gave for xecuter modchip. I have the xecuter 3 chip with xapter. Put the bios and dummy file on the CD and burned as the insturctions said. Put it in the xbox and everything flashed fine and shut down. Now it will only start in the MS mode. When try to start with modchip I get a couple of on/off shutdowns and then flashing red/green. The bios I used said"cromwell customized version with the xecuter 2 modchip and to be used freely by others. V3.0.3. Any suggestions????? Please help!!

well u have an X3 right...why would u use a bios for X2???

get on #xbins and u will find everything u need

Don't know exactly what we(mother and son) are doing. The place I got the bios said can be used by others. I assumed that meant other version numbers. It also had no other choices for the Xecuter bios. When you say to get on #xbins is that the tutorial guide in xbox-scene?

I tried to use IRC but everytime I try to join in xbins it just tells me I need to register. Can't I use IRC for 30 days first? How do I get around this?

Normally yes
I use Mirc and I am past my 30 Day point and I still can connect
What I would do is a complete uninstall of the IRC client that you have
Download the newest client and then try again

Let me know how that goes
