Before I start I have been reading about how to mod my xbox for awhile now, but i still dont really under stand it. I have installed a xecuter 2.6 modchip into my xbox, when i load it up I see:

FlashBIOS 3.0.3
For help visit Team Xecuter (http://teamxecuter.com/flashbios/)

HDD: ST310014A 3.09 10.242GB
DVD: SAMSUNG DVD-ROM SDG-60SF

Enable Network Flashig
Load BIOS from HDD (C:\BIOS)
Load BIOS from Disc
Unlock HDD
Lock HDD

I dunno if that helps in any way, but my questin is can i buy a hard drive for my xbox that is already Flashed with BIOS or evox or what ever I need, so all i have to do is unplug my old xbox hard drive and plug in a new one? i have been looking at this one, i think this is what i want, http://www.modchipstore.com/Exclusive_Platinum_Xbox_Fully_Customized_120_160GB_Turnkey_Har-p-16175.html the only problem is i think a friend of mine bought one from this site and it didn't have any programs on it, hes about as lost as i am, and is no help to me. All i want to do is copy my games to the hard drive (i have alot, about 25). Again i have been reading about this for awhile and i just don't understand it. Is it even possiblr to buy a hard drive that comes with everything i need, so i don't have to create dvd discs or connect it to my pc, or any other stuff like that?

No. In fact... how did you find that link?

What they are doing is utterly illegal. There is no legal loophole that would allow them to sell HDDs already equiped with illegal applications! Besides, it's just about as easy to modifiy you're own XBox. You're almost done anyway!

As far as your situation goes: no, it wouldn't help you any to buy one of these HDDs. The new BIOS is stored on the chip, not the HDD. So, even if you got one of these HDDs (assuming it had all the programs it claimed it had) you would still be left with this blue screen. Before you could use them, you need to flash your chip with the X2 BIOS. Good luck!

1. find out which model Xbox you have. Which BIOS will depend on your Xbox model. Go to xbox-scene, and read the tutorial on identifying your Xbox model.
2. Get a copy of an IRC client, a good FTP program (FlashFXP is recommended around here), and search on xbox-scene for how to access xbins.
3. Download a BIOS. My understanding is that Xbox models 1.0-1.5 have an X2 BIOS available for them, but for a 1.6 model you will need the latest M8 bios (sorry - I have an X3, so will be no help here on that one).
4. You will probably want a new hard drive. Get the largest you can afford. With 25 games, you can get away with a 120GB drive, but if you can stretch the $$$ a little further, try for a 160, 200, or 250 GB drive.
5. You are a n00b. The question you asked really drives that home ... you will need a dashboard, an app for copying the games from the DVd to the hard drive, etc. Recommend that while you are on the site where you get the BIOS from, that you grab a copy of the Slayers Evox Autoinstaller. Its actually a Bit Torrent file, so you will alos need a Bit Torrent client. Azureus is good (google for it), but I really like exeem (google for it) now.
6. Go to xbox-scene, and read the tutorial on installing Slayers ... (how to burn the disc, etc). Then run the application - it will set up everying you need. Try it out on your buddies hard drive :)

You might have noticed that I referred to the tutorials over at xbox-scene.com and reading quite a bit. If you had been reading and actually understanding what you were reading, a lot of these answers will have been obvious. Seriously, read the stickies on this site (go to the X3 FAQ section --- its not all X3 specific), and go through the tuorials on Xbox-scene.

Good luck.

lol, its safe to assume wihtout someone actually at his side, hes pretty much screwed, you should find someone through connections, send them your hard drive, and get them to fix you up, itll cost ya most likely, but hey, better than a hard drive just collecting dust

Find someone on this forum that lives close to you, to help out.
You have to Flash that Bios.

Load BIOS from HDD (C:\BIOS)

Goto: EFnet, then channel #xbins with a Mirc program.
Get Flash FXP, and FTP it to your XBOX in the C: Dir.

Or

You can do it though you web browser

Read up on it at Xbox-Scene
