Aud clamp and dvd drive and error e71 again. I'll remake the freeboot nand and use xell. I can't understand where i'm wrong, xbreboot works perfectly :(

ok - cool.

How did you deal with the bad block in XBR?
i remap the block manually to original position, make xbreboot.bin, remap the bad block to good 3ff, like in original

ok, I GOT A E79! :D
i've done:
360multibuilder v0.4
5 - falcon
2- jtag hack
3- build image with dashlaunch v2.25 patches <SMC=aud clamp>

flashed with xell and e79, in every mode i put the resistor (0, 330, 470)... it's better than nothing! :D

Could be the fact i use dvd_tray point and not DB1F1? now i'll try without dashlaunch patches

tomorrow i'll post photos. imagine xecuter kit with yellow wire to aud_clamp e red wire to dvd_drive. this way should be better than DB1F1 and RoL, like some people said
WITHOUT dash launch patches another e71 error :(
edit: after power cycle i got e79
i got e79 also with 1 build image with dashlaunch normal smc
photos soon

No - J2D2.1 is closer to the heatsink than J2D2.2. Look at the header socket from the top and you'll see one hole is 'square'. This is pin 1.

ok sorry man, but i got nandx kit on the motherboard and i can't read
however it is connected well because nandx kit wires can only enter in the apposite "hole" in one way

Don't mean to but in but where are the resistors that were on the red and yellow wire in the first place? If they are in the middle of the wire then they may not be preforming correctly. Also it would have been easier to just move both of the wire to the bottom of the board before the wire were cut. You could have put the yellow on the AUD_CLAMP and the red wire to the FT1u2 point on the bottom of the board. Have use them both for Zypher boards

edit with the FT1u2 point there is not need to change the SMC for the DVD_TRAY_Eject because it works the same as the DB1F1 point on the top of the motherboard

The main reason I was posting was to say that this morning I was having the same issue with my Falcon, I installed the RGH last night. The issue was that I had two Bad Blocks when I read the nand. So I remapped them using both the Jtag Tool method as well as the let Xell do it automatically method neither of which worked because it would start to boot then get a E71 error. So just for fun I flashed the non-remapped freeBOOT image created using Multi v0.4 and everything worked fine. So i don't know why remapping the blocks was causing the E71 error but without remapping everything seem to be working fine.

Ok, thank you smurph, i'll create a direct connection between the points and j2d2, on the bottom of the board. With diodes soldered to board ;)
