xweasel ask if i could reflash nand and get it back up running as he tried to put an earlier dash on it and it wouldnt boot. I started taking in apart and noticed a few things so decided to investigate further. they say "pictures say a thousand words" Certainly do in this case :confused:
sorry for the late reply (wasn't focusing on this post, my bad)
[AD] r-jtaged it for me and he had to replace 5 resistors, as well as fix a wire which was torn so...

guys N.E.Modz is having the "0xffffffff" error
any suggestions? thanks
hi,

Ive used multimeter on points in this post:http://team-xecuter.com/forums/showthread.php?t=77908

the voltages are crazy, 1,2,3 all have voltages of +/- 3v the only correct readings are 4,5,6

As the JRP is not recognising the nand type Ive shorted pins as in this tut: http://team-xecuter.com/forums/showthread.php?t=52213

Its still the same. Ive asked a friend who has had some success with bad flash to nand issues and he agrees with me the nand is corrupt. I'm gonna try the 5v external power/short trick but Im not gonna hold out much hope. Ive already spent too much time on this board to the detriment of my other work

Dale:(

The other option is to install a demon chip and write to NAND with that but given the state of the board it might be too risky. Other than that u could remove the NAND chip and program it directly but I'm not sure what hardware U would need. The spi in the southbridge could be blown aswell.

sorry but i dont understand what you mean by "keep door open"
I mean it has had it, it lives no more, it is extinct, it is deceased (sorry monty python, just couldnt stop myself lol) It has no use.

English dictionary explanation:

[h=2]doorstop (ˈdɔːˌstɒp
)[/h] [h=3]Definitions[/h] [h=4]noun[/h]
  • a heavy object, wedge, or other device which prevents an open door from moving
  • a projecting piece of rubber, etc, fixed to the floor to stop a door from striking a wall
  • (informal) a very thick book
