Help please

I ordered an xbox pre-modified. When I first turned it on it came up to the Flashbios 3.3. I had it on my network and I flashed it via HTTP. I admittedly didnt know what I was doing and flashed it with a 256 KB Xecuter1 bios. It flashed and shut off just like it was supposed to. Now when I turn it on it just does a FRAG. I tried switching to Bank2 and it does the same thing. I have since created a 1024 KB Xecuter2 bios file but I do not know how to reflash it now that it is only doing a FRAG. Please help!

How did you create an X2 1MB file when it’s only 256k? You should be using the X3 BIOS file, which is a 1MB file. Try booting to your backup by pressing the eject and power buttons at the same time, then reflash banks 1-4 (on, on, off, off, off) with the X3 1959.

I created the 1MB file by using the bios manager and putting all 4 256KB files in and saving as a 1MB file. I couldnt find a 1M X3 file on the xmods ftp site. I will look again though. I tried that holding in eject and power button trick and nothing is happening. I still get the FRAG. Im not sure what Im doing wrong.

OK, I found the 1024 KB X3 bios. I just need to be able to flash it. Anyone know why the eject power trick is doing nothing for me.

personally, i found that the backup bios booted when i pressed the power button for less than a second, then pressed the eject button as i was releasing the power button

ok i need help

i sent my xbox to have the new update applied to my mod. but it still wont play NFS: hot pursuit or any other games containing the anti piracy however my uncles xbox had the same update and works fine with nfs: hot pursuit. is there anything i can do to get it working as i have been waiting to play NFS for too long now

make sure you have patched your backups with abgx360 1.5 on LEVEL 3
