GENERAL help please

I was given 3 different xbox 360 with all different issues. I believe two of them have a bad dvd drive and one has the rrod. they were given to me in pieces so i do not know which dvd drive goes with which console. I have been trying to research on how to get dvd key off motherboard but need some help.

I have downloaded jungle flasher, but dont know where to start on getting dvd key and what dvd drive goes with which console. I have put some of the dvd drives in and been able to get some to play dvds but no games.

Please help with a tutorial or give me some guidance.

Im not sure what dashboards they are currently on. I would like to have one of them stock and the others i dont care. If i mod them i would not be able to play xbox live correct?

Yes that is correct and just google jungle flasher download , you should be able to find it . Also jungle flasher would be useless without the DVD key for each motherboards . You would need a rjtag to extract the DVD key through xell , but if you have a older dash you could use a cool runner instead . If I have helped you in any way please press "thanks "

If you just wanted to get a stock one for now, you could pick one of the working motherboards and just try all three drives with it. If they are all functioning you will get 2 that say play DVD and 1 that says play game when a game disc is in. The one that says play game is obviously the one that belongs with that console.

its a black console

dashboard - 2.0.13599.0

its plays dvd's

when you try to play a game it gets stuck at the xbox 360 screen

it will also not download system update gives error 351f-40a3-1380-0703-c000-0099

It seems like you can rgh1 it and you should download the 2.0.13599.0 dash update and put it on a flash drive and you can complete the update

ok i seem to have gotten one to work again, it may be the one that has the rrod or the disc drive was sticking.

I have narrowed it down to 2 disc drives now:
a phillips & Benq july 2007
a Benq june 2007

my buddy just now told me neither of these are the drives for the console his son took apart and messed up the original.

What is rgh1?

The dash is already on 13599, it's looking for 16547 but it will not complete because you don't have the stock dvd drive in it.

It's a chip you install that let's you run unsigned code , backed up games , emulators , Ect . Also it will extract the DVD key for you , you could also rjtag it .

ok on the console i got working it shows an error message of e 66 which seems to be due to tampering. Is there a fix for this?

the only way to get a dvd key from a motherboard with no drive (or unknown drive) is to glitch it

E66 is wrong dvd drive

ok how do you glitch it? with the wrong drive, would it not play any games though. It plays all my old games just not the new diablo 3.

Oh it seems like the drive is original if it's playing games , you have to update the dash for new games

ok i have updated the dash to 16547 and still same issue. I have done some more research and it says to either change out the sata and power cables or to do this:

E-Code / Secondary Error code: E66 / 1002
Binary/Hex: 01000010 / 0x42 -> 66


Known fixes:

1) Reflash the firmware with the correct Vendor version string using your computer.

This error occurs when you replace the dvd-drive and forget to spoof it with the correct version string of the drive you replaced....

Drive spoofing isn't supported any longer. In other words, for a stock nand, it has to be the same drive it came with. The only way to find that out is to RGH/R-JTAG the console to get the cpukey so you can decrypt the keyvault. All the console info is in that keyvault.

can you please tell me a little more about the r-jtag? I know it is a chip mod from what i can tell. does that allow for ripping of my games? is it xbox live safe?
