I installed UIX as my main dashboard I placed the folder and xbe on a partition root, C:\user.interface.x.dash and C:\uix.xbe but when I reboot it doesnt work what am I doing wrong? (I also tried E:\)

I doubt your BIOS is set to load UIX.xbe. Probably looks for EvoX first, then Avalaunch etc. What dash did it load before? Find out, and either re-do your BIOS, or rename your UIX.xbe file to the existing dash XBE filename.

Read what's below. Where the path is defined as 'apps', UIX looks in every partition for a folder called 'apps', and subsequently maps the contents to the Applications menu. Same for the rest. The only thing I can't get to work properly is the dashboards (they don't appear) - they're stored under the root of my C drive - don't think UIX likes the path being defined as just C:\\.
