I have a v1.1 xbox xecuter 2.6. xapt3r solderless. The xapt3r has 4 leds 3 blue and one red. Is this correct? also error code 5 and 12. and whenever i enable the chip the xbox turns itself of and on 3 times then stays on with the eject button flashing red and gren and nothing on the screen. if i disable the chip then i get the error codes on the green screen. Please tell me there is a solution to my problem other than buying another xbox.

5 - kernel - HDD not locked

in order to be able to boot your box with the chip disabled (ms bios), your hdd must be locked
you can use a program called configmagic to lock it, if your drive is lockable

12 - kernel - DVD parameters (PIO/DMA)

make sure the yellow cable and ide cables are properly connected from drives to motherboard

be sure the xapt3r is sitting flush with the board
the lights you are getting are normal and correct
