i did a big mistake and i load X3 3294 v16plus bin to my chip the chip is 2.6 and console v1.6, now when it starts rebooting 3 times and then starts the eject led flashing green-red, also i can get now to load new bios.is my chip dead?if somebody knows please help

easiest way is to flash the chip with a programmer.could hotswap if you have a spare chip but i assume you dont
at this console the bank switch is in position 1 i was wontering if in another console who needs the switch at position 2 the chip works is this possible?
as long as its not a v1.6 xbox flashbios 3.0.3 will not work with this xbox but works with the rest
If you flashed the X3 BIOS to an X2 chip you will only have one BIOS on there... and it will be unusable regardless of what console it is installed in or what the switch position is. Your options are a programmer or a hot swap. If you're in the US, www.themodchip.com still has some of the older X2 programmers on sale for cheap. http://www.themodchip.com/usa/product.php?productid=16145&cat=5&page=1 I've used these with 2.6 chips and they work fine.
