All right I used the advice that cofree gave to me and when I get in the dos setup idump doesnt work it says bad file command and when I try to use sam read it doesnt detect the drive, I have used both sata ports like tutorial said but this one time it said this

and to add when I tried to use iprep it said failed to prepare destination what is goin on can anyone help plz

being that it did not say xtreme master that means that the computer did not see your drive.when you did idump.
the hardest part for me was getting the computer to see the drive
first you have to get iprep working .you need to make sure iprep has the updated ixdef file for it to work with the new firmware.
dont get worked up this takes time.

what firmware were you using.

am using the latest off the xbins ftp site ixtreme 12
I have all the updates for my sata chip and all the other things you need to make this possible the only thing that is putting a damper in my moment is that when I use iprep it still says failed to prepare destintation what goin on

sounds like you need to update the "ixdef" in iprep to me.

get the new one then copy over the one in you iprep root.

I did what you said and replaced the idef with the new xml script and the same damn message came up whould be my satachip do I need to get different driver updates...I dont know where to go now am really goin in circles...
