Ok i just got my system from a friend who already had an xecuter 2 chip installed, as i was trying to figure out exactly how to copy to the hard drive using a utility called xcommander or something, i accidently pressed the a button over a update file, all the sudden it says updating xbox live or something, and now obviously i have no idea what to do to get back to the mod chip menu, it always boots up to the stock screen everytime now. It seems as though the only way is to burn the bios back onto a cd and run it? but i am unsure as to which files i need to use (or if one specific bios guide on the team executer home page would get me back to where i need to be). I just got the thing and now i can only play regularly, and i can't access any of the many games already on the system :( . If anyone can help me with this it would be much apreciated.

well i remember accidently pressing A while in xcommander while i had a file called update.something , i cant quite remember, but anyways how would i go about reinstalling the dashboard?, it currently only boots up to the stock screen music memory, etc.. or how would i go about changing the file by ftp? i have a home network w/router as well as a spare lan hub. can i even change things by ftp with the ms dash? or is it possible to hook up and load the hard drive as a slave drive on a computer to repair it?

oh, and i figured out the whole copying thing before i crashed it, but when i press the A button in the dvd2xbox app (the copy dvd to hdd option) it doesn't give me an option, or way to name the folder to put it in, only lets me use a F: (base directory) or like F:\games\

where is the best place to find it, and does it need to be dvd format or is there a cdr or cdrw method?
