HELP PLZ need it bad

i have a xbox with the 2.3b chip and i need to no wot bios to get and i no how to flash them but it keeps asking me to flash bank 2 ne ideas would be a help

Hey,
First off your in the wrong forum. You should be in "Discontinued Xecuter Modchips".

Anyway, all the current bios's for every chip are listed on the home page of this site. Look for "Latest Bios Versions".
You can also use versions 4893 or 4981 if you want to edit it with XBTOOLS.


You need to get a program called X2BM and use it to edit your bios. You didn't say which chip you have (there are 3 versions of the 2.3 chip) so I'm going to assume you have the lite chip.
If you have a 256k bios put it in banks 1 & 2. If you have a 512k bios put it in bank 1, it will automatically take bank 2 also. Do the same for banks 3 & 4 but use flashbios version 3.0.3

Save the bios and flash it to your chip. See the FlashBios Tutorials under the quick help section on the home page here.

Another thing you should do, being that this is only your 4th post, is READ. READ, READ and READ some more! Read the STICKY's and TUTORIALS here and on www.xbox-scene.com.
The more you know about what your doing the less likely you'll hose your xbox.

thanks for u help im not shore i gave up it it time ago i have the 2.3b lite im not intilley shore if my banks r 256k or 512 but ill take a look wrote down the stuff so ill see how i get on

Don't give up now.
it doesn't matter how big your banks are. just get the programs I mentioned and do what I said. it will work.

Hey,
If your playing backup's from a disc then you don't need a new dashboard.
If you want to play from the hard drive then you need a dashboard to get your games menu.
