Hi there people

I got latest x3 1959 & evox 3935. Now everything seem to work apart from some games.

- Soul Calibur 2 does't boot at all - same for MKeception, LoK: Defiance from HD...kicks it back to dashboard...all games were U with original DVD-roms.
- True Crimes: SoLA (U) just crashes the xbox dvd or from HD.

All of the games work in my good old x2.3 xbox 1.4....but even though SC2 works in it but that's the only game IGR doesn't work. I didn't know should I post in bugs section or here...mods please move it if it's the wrong places...thanks.

Also don't if it's a bug or not, DOA3 (PAL) only plays music when set in 480p mode.

So please help and do I need to update anything or not :?

Possibly try a different dashboard?

I had this problem with a game a while back - just wouldn't boot from HD, but booted fine from DVD - switched dashboards, and worked fine.

try plugging in a working network cable. my games won't boot with a network cable in.

Thanks for the input guys but here's how it was fixed...err partially.

So I put in everything from scratch on a new HD...and exact same problem. Then all did was updated the FlashBIOS to v3.0.3....since that all dvd's original & backup's of those mentioned game started to work. Nothing freezes or crashes but just will not work from the HD.

callit I'm still on 3935, can you tell me what ver you're using. I'm keeping it since now they all work but from the dvd rom only and I think it's 1.6b + x3 issue :?

well, my problem was a game not booting from thc lite, I used Avalaunch, and it seemed to work

evox is definately the problem here
make sure that your x3 is set to auto correct time, if not it will cause problems with games that use autosave ( like the ones you mentioned )
then in evox disable IGR, RDTools and TSRDebug

psilocybe can you please tell me where do I find the x3 option you mentioned ?

Under X3 live config I have "Check Clock For Errors" to enable and done all suggested...still the same issue from HD. I am hoping such is fixed in the next x3 update or something :?

EDIT: Just got avalaunch no more problem and I don't think i'm EVER going back to evox. Sorry for the trouble guys.

probe v2 MRA Hack Help

i can see all the properties of the drive but can't get the intro to work. I get the properties only with the probe connected to both points. Does that mean one of my trace cuts isn't right or what??

if you can see the properties using the probe, your cuts aren't right

you should only see flash properties if drive is stock

you need to cut traces and isolate the flash chip

according to the jungleflasher tutorial you should be able to see the drive with the properties show up only when the probe is connected. Then your supposed to hit intro, then turn the ck3 off then push v2 to probe button down to read/write, then hit yes and turn the ck3 probe back on which it should show up as status 72 and then switch back to norm after that happens and hit read.
