I am going to install the coolrunner (phat) and I have the 2 nand qsb installed but i need the v2 nand instead of the one I have on there now for just the nand. I need to de solder the points to take the qsb off but I do have the braid and I'd like to install the coolrunner tonight. Can anyone give me a tip to get the qsb off. I tried getting the solder hot and pulling qsb of but the points are too spread out I guess to do that. Thanks .

Ok will do. Since I have you here, this is my only solution for removing a ban flag since I have the latest dash correct?

So do I get rid of that point completely? That's what it looks like in the pic anyway.

If that's the point I think your talking about you do NOT need to get rid of any point. The only ones where destructive work needs doing is where you scrap the trace and put a wire between the points.

I think the alt point you should be using is the one on the back, FT**** or something similar. I did this yesterday and was so much easier.

It says its self explanatory on the tut but I don't want to screw it up.

The image you linked to is for the trace repair, that is not needed...... just solder the STBY_CLK wire from your CoolRunner to the point on the back of the motherboard (see the image I posted).

I used the blue wire from the slim cool runner wires, was far too long but on my falcon glitched fine. In the future I'll always use the alternative point on the back, so so much easier IMHO
