use as smallest soldering iron tip as you can as that one can be a bit tricky for the inexperienced or noobs to soldering

Keep it tight up to the bottom of the XClamps
This helps a lot, also be sure to tin the point you are soldering to and the wire will "stick" to it a lot easier (you only need to touch that point for a second so that the wire and the point make solid contact).

Don't forget to flux the point prior to adding solder, As blakey8 said you only need to touch the point briefly with the iron(Tin-clean iron tip before soldering every point also helps), ppl lift pads by thinking "I'll hold the iron on there and press down and it will stick" No, If it doesn't stick in 1 to 2 seconds it never will, Add flux and tin the solder point and add some more solder to your wire if needs be.

Posts like this worry me.

You solder the point the exact same way as you solder all the other points.

A good 30w iron, tinned wire and flux. Always flux.

The advice is no different than every soldering guide out there. All several hundred thousand of them.

I have the iron ,flux and tinned the wire but as you know the point where the green wire goes is a bit hard , I mean you only get one shot at this especially in the CPU area where all the points are close

a conical tip on the iron - a steady hand and decent flux - all you need - it's easy really.
This point actually takes hold nice and quickly if you do it right and is a lot easier than you think

Uber is right. This point is really not that different. It just seams that way. What really help me is to isolate that point by putting tape around around it. That way you can better focus on it.

Also getting the wire into exactly the correct position before soldering, and holding it in place with masking tape say an inch away from the point will help alot. the wire isn't going anywhere then, and just requires a tiny bit of pressure from your finger and one second with the iron.

Yep, as others have said it is a pretty quick one, a simple 1-second press down with the iron and it should stick. Flux + tinning worked just fine. Just make sure to route the wire first.
