Help solderless 1.6b install with 2.6CE lite FRAG

I recently purchased the 1.0-1.7 solderless adapter from easybuy2000 and and xecuter 2.6ce lite. I have a 1.6b version xbox. Here is what I did so far and it's not working.

1. Installed solderless adapter and got all 5 leds lit up.
2. installed and connected external control board to xecuter 2.6ce modchip.
3. Pushed modchip onto adapter in correct posistion.
4. started xbox and get no sound or video with red and green flashing. LED on chip is on and led in front control is yellow. LRAME led on solderless adapter is not on but when it remove chip it comes on.

Have I missed steps or am I doing something wrong? Please help. Do I have to manually solder the 5v alternate point with this adapter?



I posted a picture showing the adapter and which LED is not lighting up.

Well I finally got it running after soldering 5v alternate point but then I flashed via http on bank1 and now nothing boots up. Trashing this junk and this crap adapter which wont stay in by the way. Screw this chip.

How exactly would I do a hotswap? Sounds like a lot could go wrong with something like that.
