I tried to initialize my switch to clear my banned nintendo account (stupid move I know but I was only trying to get rid of it from my console) but after initializing my switch doesn't respond to anything like charging and pressing down the power button. I am only a noob at this so i am no idea what is going on! I chose the "initialize console" option and i have no emunand on since i figured that i won't try to play online anymore after banned. But i did forget to take my sd card off before initializing. Is that the reason why? Thank you so much!

Try holding the power button down for 15 seconds and see if it comes up with a 'power off' option

Like i said, nothing responds
I have just had help for a similar problem. Plug the console into the charger then after a while, leaving it on charge, hold down the power button for around 15 seconds then leave it on charge for a while longer. This worked for me when I thought that my console was dead. Good luck
