Hello everyone,

I followed every step of the manual for the sx core install but I see no lights and my screen remains black. I tested conductivity through the capacitors, chip and battery and everything seems to be fine.

The only problem is that I tore one of the joycon rail ribbon but for me that doesn't explain the black screen not even showing my battery loading.

Here are pictures of the soldering
Any advice that might help? I'm out of solutions

Thank you in advance

To much solder, you shorthed booth caps on sp1 and sp2, i say stop until is to late.

You need flux, solder wick and maybe replacement caps.

You bridged all the soldering connections and due to shorts, your Switch will not boot. get a desolder wick and try to desolder but be aware that you might damage your caps due to heat as your solder is surrounding the entire cap.

As said in the previous comment, you bridged SP1 and SP2 capacitors, so it cannot work.
You better ask a professional to remove the solder, if he can, and to try to properly solder it again.

I'm with the rest of the guys above, you need a professional to try and fix the soldering.
Even with a soldering braid trying to remove that amount of excess without experience will likely result in damaged capacitors.

in all honesty you need to send this to someone else before you literally murder the switch, it might be recoverable if solder wick is used and you havent damaged the Caps

Well I tried and gained experience by doing it so next time i won't commit the same mistake again. Thanks for the feedbacks guys, i'll probably have trouble finding a professional near me so i'll probably do it myself with wick. Wish me luck :)
