Post a pic of your actual chip. There is a via point near the pad that you damaged. If it's still there you can scrape away the solder mask and use a small piece of wire to make the connection. TBH with you tho, if you damaged that big pad you may not have the skills to do this type of repair. Sounds like you have your solder iron temps too high or your touching the pad for too long. If your using flux all it takes is a quick touch of the iron to the pads to make the bridge.

 Okay, so you damaged the via as well. MAKE SURE you use flux before your solder! Look at the pic I attached, it points to the via on the bottom side of the chip. Use an x-acto knife to carefully scrape away the mask to expose the trace. once you've exposed it, before soldering anything prepare a piece of wire (there is a tut on trace repairs here in the forum) make use of it. once you have the wire prepped solder it to the area I highlighted in the pic and glue it in place to avoid further damaging the chip beyond repair. Next you will obviously just solder the other end of the wire to one of the voltage pads. Another thing your E and F points are a mess. Clean them up before you test.

Thanks you so much, I will do just that. I was really trying to work around using flux because there is where here in Jamaica that sells flux, it seems there is
no way out without using it flux. I tried doing the r-jtag installation without using any but no luck. I could not even get a POST OUT. I'll try and pursue flux before continuing.. can you help trace another point on my motherboard this time? one last thing If i purchase a use console that has a broken DVD drive
that won't open or read game, can i R-Jtag it?
