JTAG Help updating Jtag

Hey guys I'm looking to update a Jtag console. I've flashed normal consoles in the past but never touched a Jtag. I looked at the guide for how to update but there's a few things I don't understand. At first it says...

Please Note !! Select Aud_Clamp if your Jtag has being done with this method

How would I know if it's been done by this method or not?

It's a 360 Phat with a Hitachi drive if that's what you mean? Sorry I'm new to this.

So you don't even know if it's a Xenon, Zephyr, Falcon or Jasper?

This is your first step.

Yeh I literally know nothing. I got the console off my cousin who before that had bought it from someone. I did try to start at the beginning of the tutorial but it must assume you know this stuff. I have the Xbox open at the moment, how would I tell which one it is?

Ok I've looked online and going by the power connector its a Falcon. Does that help?

Ok I'll read through. I think I'd find it easier if I was Jtag'ing it from scratch, but because I'm updating something that I have no idea what the original guy has done it's a struggle.

TBH it doesn't matter what he's done. If you load the existing JTAG image into J-Runner and build a new JTAG image from that, it'll use the existing wiring config.

XeBuild GUI will also tell you the wiring used if you load the existing image into it.
