Help Via 6421 Drivers

I'm having problems reading my Samsung MS28 drive bought off ebay.

I've made my boot USB and/or NTFS4DOS dir using iprep, but when i run idump - i don't get the option to select the xtreme drive.

I think I may have the wrong drivers?
Can anyone direct me to the latest drivers for the Via 6421? The one I installed recognized my sata chip in iprep as VIA 3249 (or something like that).

Thanks for the help.

I was able to install the driver for the VIA 6421 - unfortunately when i run the idump, i still can not see any drives available.

basically i run the iprep to create the usb boot drive, then restart the computer (turn on the xbox with the sata plugged)

and run idump...
it just gives the error that no drives are found.

any other ideas?

have you been doing the ten second trick ?

the 10 second trick is before you select the "xtreme" drive right?

i don't even get to see the xtreme drive selection, it just says no drives available?

yeah .. dont turn your xbox on until your pc's on ... my advice would be to wait untill ipreps loaded up then turn your xbox on !! once its on try running idump .. if this doesnt work then try using a diffrent pci slot !
