Help w/ disc

when i try to flash my chip w/ a disc it says no bios update found....halting. on the net it said that the bios were 1 mb and when i download it it says like 2,737 kb what did i do wrong. I just got my chip installed (xecuter 2.6 lite ce) and iam doing the FIRST download to it. (bios)

what you downloaded was the .rar file with the bios compreesed inside it, open the .rar file with winrar and extract the bios to your desktop and then burn it.

also the x2 bios is 512 not 1 mb make sure your not trying to flash the x3 bios
