Ok, so recently I brought my xbox to a friend's house for a lan party, and it wouldn't work on his tv with the regular AV cables. I thought that was odd, because my xbox works fine at home with the advanced AV pack. So I went to the store and purchased another set of standard AV acbles for future use. Today I tried these AV cables and my xbox still doesn't work with them. The problem is the picture, sound works fine. My xbox won't even work with my mobile LCD screen. Was there some MoBo damage? Does anyone have experiance with this problem and know how to fix it, I can take as many pics of the inside of my xbox as necessissary. The only thing I can think of is a while ago I left the fan unplugged and it flashed orange and black when I turned my xbox on, but after i plugged the fan back in all was still fine.
PS. If I buy a xbox mobo from like llama, and put my HD in with the new board, will I get banned from live, should I back up my eeprom and get a new mobo and flash my eeprom on there? Can anyone detail how to do that as I've never done it. My xbox specs are as follows in my sig.
