help with a jtag

i have a 256 jasper phat model and an rjtag starter kit with a jr programmer v1.1

i have been doing research but assume i dont know what i am doing at all can someone show me how install these?
especially the jr programmer i have not found anything showing me how to solder it in. or pluging it in if i can.
i dont want to mess with it until i have a general idea of what i will be doing.

Why did you buy hardware without knowing how to install it?

There are guides and tutorials on the forum which explain how to to install and use all TX products.

Can you solder well?

I have done the research I just thought the Jr programmer would be about the same as the nand-x ...as far as the rest of the kit I'm pretty confident I can install it

Okay so excuse my youthful ignorance but what are the two cables for? I couldn't find a tutorial on how to install jrp

The cable with the black plug on the end is for programming a CR and the other cable with the smaller plugs on is for NAND read/write.

You can cut those small plugs off and do a wire install - images can be found in J-Runner.

hit the images tab in jrunner and most everything is in there as well :)

How can I install the Jrp 1.1 with Rjtag starter kit v 1.1

Okay so I got the Jr programmer weird in and dumped the nand. Error reading one block can I still continue with the Rjtag?


edit:this is what i got upon continuing anyway
Comparing...Takes a while on big nands
Nands are the same
Patching Jasper version 2.3 SMC at offset 0x12BA
XeLL file created Successfully jasper_bb.bin
Version: 01
Flash Config: 0x00000000
Can not Continue

what happened and how do i fix it?
