I'm soldering in my 2.6 CE Lite, got all wires in place, thought it was ready, but when I plugged it all back in I got FRAG after it power cycled 3 times. I checked over my soldered joints and sure enough there was a bad one in one of the LPC joints (I'm using the wire adapter, not pinheader). My problem now is that I can't remove the solder that's in the hole, and eveytime I try to solder the wire in, it won't "stick" to the solder already there making it impossible to get a good connection. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can either get the solder out so I can resolder it clean? I have tried using braid, but it won't get right down in there with the soldering iron I have.

this can get a little tricky, and you must be careful but build up a blob of solder in the hole. this will allow you to get heat down into there and either attach the wire or better yet the braid will suck it right out.

you might want to pick up at rat shack their 15w pencil tip iron, its cheap and works well for this job.
