help with bios setup want no dvd support

I was wondering on how to set up the X3 bios so that i can run it with out the DVD drive i have played around with it a little but wanted to see if anyone else has had success, I wish to use it in my car as a music server witout the dvd drive

just unplug it, when you boot the x3 bios bios without the dvd drive it will work ( flubber will stutter a bit but thats normal)
