I was one of these noobies that started buying things before reading anything. I bought a 300G HDD figuring I had to have the best. I got everything working just fine on my 1.6 xbox with my xecuter 2.6 lite. I have the M8 bios in there that I read I should. Like I said everything was running great. I then saved a game on the drive and noticed that the g:/ drive wasn't there. I did some research and found out I need to use XBTool to change the bios to allow partition 7. Ok this is where the problem starts. As I am sure many know M8 isn't supported with the XBtool. Is there anyother way to get partition 7 to use the rest of my HDD allowing the g:/ drive. That is a lot of wasted space/money if I can't get it. I will eagerly wait for your reply's.

Use the X2 BIOS, and enable the LBA 48 feature (large hard drives). Will probably mean a reformat of your HDD - but thems the breaks. Set the BIOS up to have everything on F:\ then you wont need to swap between an F and G partition.
