ANSWERED Help with Corona v1 with CR3 PRO

Hey guys i'v RGH'd 3 Trinity's and this is my first Corona v1. Reads and writes NAND just fine. Problem is i can't get it to boot to xell. The CR3 PRO"s light stays solid red when trying to boot. I think it's due to incorrect soldering near CPU_RST QSB. If you could take a look think you can help me guys? Thanks!

does the debug light blink green/ did u make sure stock side still boots

You haven't set the dip switches properly.

The guide says to start with dip switch #3 ON for the first test (and dip switch #8 for Corona).

Yea i'v got dip's 8 and 3 on and there is only the red light on and it does still boot to stock nand. There is 3 points on the QSB that might not need to of been sodered?

How did you identify it? I see a missing resistor.

this is a Corona V3/5 and you need Post_Fix + Bridging the missing resistors

He also needs a fake post chip. CR3-Pro full post will not work on this console.

Oh crap! I completely misidentified the motherboard version... :crazy: Thanks for that Martin C... Looks like I got some work to do. Ok guess i gotta get me a Prototype and post fix adapter. Thanks everyone..

i strongly recommend to get Prototype 2 great boot time , and don't forget to bridge the R2C6 & R2C7 resistors to enable E & F Connection
