help with Corona v1

hi im using a j-r programmer v2 and a cr4 xl i got the nand dumps but when i try and but xell on to get cpu key its not booting or glitching i putting up pic of the wire install but where the green wire gos to db2g3 the pad gone so i looked on internet for a alternative point im putting a pic up for that to plus j-runner log

your CPU_RST (white wire) and POST (yellow wire) is mixed up.. switch up the yellow and white wires on the CR4

also, your alternate DB2G3 is no good.. you have applied too much solder .. there are 3 pads on the side where you've soldered to and you've soldered to 2 of them.. no good

ty i swoped the cpu_rst and the post around and i got the db2g3 back to the db2g3 here a pic but it still not booting xell or glitching

It's definitely your soldering. Your cpu_rst looks like it may be bridged with that cap as well. You need to trim down your leads and make sure you're only soldering to where you need to.

i just looked at the yellow wire on the cpu_rst and its not bridged is the way i took the pic

you will have to repair the damage as the DB2G3 trace is now incomplete .. also, it is the middle of the 3 pads where you have soldered to which is a valid alternative

if you're not up to the repair task, you can use the R2G3 or R2G4 alternatives on the top side (refer to the link below)

ty for all the helpful info from your all as specialy to chase for helping me out alot i repair the db2g3 when i just do the rgh2 on a falcon phat as i not find a wire diagram to do it yet only ones with the qsbs so if any1 got pics for a cr4 with just the wire diagram and not with the qsbs let me know so i can get the falcon done out of the way for some1 then i can get back to doing my xbox 360 thx

use the OFFICIAL INSTALL GUIDE .. the only wire soldered to the qsb is the red (5v) wire which you can solder like your picture above

when i read nands with jrunner its selecting r-jtag and not glich2 do i just put it on glich2 and cr4 as i put it on glich2 and gone through the dips and the site you gave me i done then on 0 and on 10 i only got to do the 100 now but its not gliched and any up to now

As was said before, try to trim wires and improve soldering.
If you have another cr4, try that. I had same problem with faulty chip. I couldn't glitch jasper, couldn't glitch corona v1. Then I tried another cr4 and it booted to xell in first boot. I am not saying, it's faulty. But I got one.

hi when i read the nands i get Error: 250 reading block 10E but the nands are the same will this stop xell running as i know the cr4 is working as i took it off 1 of my Trinity

u can try different postbit and dips

2 and 8 and 3,8 always worked for me on corona and default postbit/ dd u switch postout and cpu rst wire to the correct place?/ and is the green light blinking on cr4

postout is on c on the cr4 and the cpu rst is on c5r11 and on the d on the cr4 and the green wire is on r2g4 and on the e on the cr4 no the green light not blinking on the cr4 at the moment i post some more pics up laters

this isn't hard at all u need to just stop and send it to someone before its 2 late / this install takes less than hr
