hi i just installed my cr4 in my slim xbix 360 but before i solder the red wire to the board i tryed to see if it come on still but i get the red dot and i looked at all the wires and they look good so can any1 help me plz

hi sorry about that i got a Trinity Dashboard version 14719 my nands are 16mb cb 9231 i used jrp v2 i read the nands ok with no errors it was working ok before i started then after i read the nands before i put the cr4 on and i dont know if i get any lights on the cr4 as i not put the red wire on yet as i wanted to check if the xbox come on ok before i put it on and thats when i seen the red dot

hi i just took the blue wire off and its still the same with red dot i uploading 2 new pics that are not blurry

i just had a closer look and the f85r1 next to the blue wire is loose and the c5r31 as come off so is there any way to fix them by retricing it anywhere or is it no good now
ok ty i got a Corona as well as some others but not sure what version it is but the mfr date is 06/10/2012 so is it the same as the Trinity to wire it up for the cr4 plz
Depends on the console model 4 gig or 250 gig
After you get it out of the cage use the Corona motherboard ID sticky

is voltage is 10.83 its trinity, if 9.6 v then corona. its written on the same label below serial number.
If its corona disconnect all wires and start the console, then check memory section in option via console. If its 250GB or no memory at all then its 250GB model, if there is something to ~3.2 GB then its 4GB model

I would never rely on the label to determine the board. People swap out boards with shells all the time and you can never be certain until you open it up.
Did you use the x clamp removal tool . c5r31 that is missing is a pretty good size capacitor to be knocked off the board

he shouldn't be trying anything unless he wants a bunch of scrap boards I would get the other1 fixed and leave the corona alone for u kill it/ if it was my system I would get that fixed continur rgh on trinty cut exposed wires use more flux so u get a good connection and u will be fine take your time
