Hello. I have a Corona v2 slim console and I would like to know how to wire the cr4xl without the qsb. I'm only temporarily glitching my system to get the cpu and dvd key. The guide requires that I remove the x clamp to solder the yellow and blue wires. For some reason I was thinking since I didn't need the post fix adapter, I didn't need to remove the x clamps. But just verifying, do I need to remove the x clamps to solder to these points and whats the number of that transistor the blue wire is soldered to because it the wire is covering part of it up. :astly, I want to remove the 4gb rw kit and the qsb, since its only temporary. Would you advise to do this or not. Thanks in advance for the help.

Some v2s do have post out removed and the only way to be 100% sure is to remove clamp and heatsink follow the guide here
http://team-xecuter.com/forums/showthread.php?96752-Xecuter-Official-Corona-Motherboard-Identification-Solutions

Then once you have checked the post_out traces you would already have the x-clamp off so i would say yeah it is kind of necessary but fairly easy to remove. There is however an alternate point to solder the blue (cpu_rst) wire to if you are just too lazy or scared to remove the x-clamp and heatsink. Point FT3T10 is an alternate cpu-rst point. But if the Console doesn't glitch after you have installed everything and read and saved your original nand then flashed xell then one of the first things to do would be check those post_out traces that you were trying to avoid in the first place.

Oh yeah I forgot about the non qsb install you were wondering about. There is only the 5v and ground wires to solder and of course ground can go to av port or any other ground you like and 5v (red) wire is shown in the install linked below. I just linked the first one I found...

LOL, so true, I swear, I would probably buy a new xbox 360 and break the warranty seal just to do that, days after the purchase. I mean some quality MX4/AS5 would be better than the crap they have, at the same time I'd adjust the smc to suite my needs, keeping the system cooler.
