Help With DLC

Before i start All the content that im working with belongs to me and no other party.

Now that that is out of the way. I'm having a problem with mass effect DLC. evry time I put it on my RGH the game stats that the content is corroped and can't be used.

I have downloaded it 2 times and both times it has told me to re-download the content.

Any help would be welcome.

Dont copy it via ftp. I had this problem with GOD games, DLC, and arcade games.... just about anything that goes in the content folder. Try using an xbox formatted USB drive, and copying it from nxe dash on stock, to rgh that way. it doesnt have to be xbox formatted, but that is the easiest way.

Thanks for the replay. I used memory stick from an stock xbox to RGH to transfer the files.

You might, but I don't know anyone else who does. I transfer ALL content via FTP with no problems whatsoever.

OP - you're downloading games via Xbox Live, then doing what with them exactly? You haven't said.

I dont know, I run linux and use filezilla, and it doesnt matter if I am using dashlaunch, or fsd, or xexmenu as an ftp server, everytime I copy content(DLC,Arcade games, God Games) NXE says they are corrupted. But if I copy an extracted game, it works perfectly. I only know this because when I upgraded my HDD to 1TB, I extracted all files from my HDD on my PC, and used FTP to transfer them back to the Xbox. everything worked, except my DLC, and Arcade, and GOD Games, which all said they were corrupted in NXE dash. Copied them with usb, and put them in their respected folders and it all worked.

I could be wrong, but don't you need to unlock purchased DLC using XM360 or something?

By the way OP, thanks for providing those photos of your genuine game discs - you are probably one of the first people to post proof without being asked lol.

I can guarantee you that the issue you have is exclusively due to your config. I FTP content flawlessly all the time, both via LAN and Wi-Fi.

This is why I asked. You shouldn't need to touch the files at all - dashlaunch's contpatch deals with them without touching XM360. It should be used as a last resort.

Just making leagal backups of my DLC on my RGH. All the content will stay with me and not with any other party.

Why would i give some one my stuff for free?

You're misunderstanding my question. I'm not accusing you of doing anything.

Talk me through what you're doing (exactly) once you've downloaded the DLC on your retail console as once again, you've not specified how you're getting it to your RGH.

Sorry if I'm not clear.

Basically i downloaded the DLC on my normal xbox.

Once I did that I used 8 GB memory stick (xbox formatted) to move the DLC from my stock xbox to my RGH. like moving a profile from one conceal to another.

Then i booted Freestyle Dash, loaded the game and it came up with an error saying that the content is corrupted.

And that the full story.
