BENQ Help with DVD drive

Is there a way I can fix my dvd drive. It won't eject. I have a falcon motherboard and when I was adding a legacy fan to it with nitro switch I think it over powered my drive. Can I fix this?
Also, for some reason the Rol keeps blinking.

hmmm maybe reverse everything you did and try it again. its blinking as if the dvd drive isn't connected. Also this is a tx support forum so being as though you're not using any then you prob wont get much help. Maybe put in a request for service if you need someone to fix your situation

always makes me chuckle when sum1 asks for help when they ave messed up but yet there user name always has sum form of mod/modding or modz in the name

Actually you make me have a bit of a laugh cause if you read what I said obviously I wasn't talking about modding, I was talking about my dvd drive. Think before you post. Smh

Replace the drive, if everything is hooked up right, which you probably hooked the power up backwards or something. You may be able to get away with just the board from the drive.

Sorry my mistake I thought adding something like a legacy fan would come under the term modding u cock

Modding is a slang expression that is derived from the verb "modify". Modding refers to the act of modifying hardware, software, or virtually anything else, to perform a function not originally conceived or intended by the designer

Falcon dvd drive is completely unresponsive

My xbox dvd drive is detected as if it's not connected. The wires are not backwards or anything. Can I replace my dvd drive with my old drive and just sodder the old dvd drive motherboard to the new one that way I won't have to program it or anything. Would this work because I think my dvd drive motherboard is messed up itself not the dvd drive.

It will work if the drives are both Ben Q's. But if the PCB is damaged, swapping it to another drive won't fix it. That would only work if the actual drive was broken. You might have to try and pull the firmware off the old drive and re-flash.

you can swap the pcb into another benq drive as long as it isnt damaged. If this doesnt work, you will need to RGH to get the dvd key, and manually make a new firmware for the new drive.
