Help with Error Message 05

I've read here on the forums to try to get up to speed (its been just over a year since I succesfully modded my XBOX)....

The 2.6 chip is working just fine when turned on. Turn off the chip and get 05 error code. I see that means the HDD is Unlocked.

I've found that ConfigMagic is the best tool to use, but yet I cannot find where to download it (searched Google and couldnt find any reliable sources....)

Im running EvolutionX 3935....

I wouldnt mind updating to the latest version of that. and possibly the latest of FlashBios as well...

Any help from the other forum members on where to find ConfigMagic would be greatly appreciated...

Also, what will I need to load to make it as safe as possible to log onto XBOX Live with the chip disabled? Any special BIOS or other tools?

K.. I've found ConfigMagic.... Now to test Locking the HDD...

OKay... I have the HDD locked. With the Chip turned "off", the XBOX will now boot to the original MS Dashboard.

Is it now safe for me to connect the box to XBOX Live?

You should be fine connecting to live. There isn't a newer version of EvolutionX. If you want more features, you will have to switch to a different dash, which may not be a bad idea anyway.
