never mind just needed to move the fsd2data folder from my root of the xbox hd to the external drive duh
first thank you for reading I just need a little help from some one who may have this running from a external hd and have the correct fsd2config.xml so that all games show in fds alpha . I have done a lot of research and have tried to be as clear as possible . just trying to take the correct plan of attack thanks .
ok i am currently running freestyle v2.0 alpha from my xbox hd
my games homebrew etc show up where they belong after configuring my fsd2config.xml
well the problem is i have 20gb drive i am using but now want to use my 1.5 tb drive
works fine i edit my fsd2config.xml to point to the external drive but it causes freestyle to crash
now i am setup for autoboot into freestyle with dash_launch_v1.0_for_9199
on my xbox hd now when i flashed the launch.xex and added the launch.ini which points to freestyle
flashed to hd. and launch.ini on the root . and of course after the install it created the fsddata folder where my
fsd2config.xml file is .
now here i am probably going to answer my own question
1. if i reflash freestyle to usb will it remove the existing freeboot on my xbox 360 hd ?
2 or will i have to manually go in and delete the files to avoid conflict or will flashing the new
lauch.xex prevent that ?
3. if i need to manually delte the files from hd which are safe
4. my new lauch.ini will be this as it points to the external hd aka usb0

Default = LUsb0:\Freestyle\FreestyleDash.xex
5. will i need to move the kxampatch_ to the external hd ?
6 now to my question above does any one that is running freestyle v2.0 alpha from usb or external hd
have a copy of there fsd2config.xml set up for the paths for item to show up in correct locations
6a seems to only crash when external hh is pluged in on start up when i select games in nxe it search's then crashes when i remove drive it finds games on xbox hd then plug drive in i can find game in file manager
my external is setup as followed on root xbox 360 folder with Data0000 through Data0017 and a folder games with game in it

<path retail='360' devkit='360'>usb0:\games\</path>
and delete the <path retail='360' devkit='360'>hhd:\games\</path>
cause when i had them both it crashed but even after deleting the hhd one it stilled went to the games on my hd which
showed up in freestyle games .
is this because i didn't delte the games on my xbox hd and had them in 2 locations
fyi the games on external hd and xbox hd are different to assure i was get the right device.
