Help with flashbios/flash X3 bios

Ok i have the X3 3294 v16plus bios flashed to banks 1-4(first 1mb bank).
i held down the white button during boot to enter X3 config/setup then i choose to flash the backup rom and flashed it with a evox m8 bios. now i dont not get the flashbios 3.03 screen when i pressed both the power and eject button instead is boots to the dashboard that was specified in the bios. so what i did was download the flashbios v303 from the usual places and went back into the X3 config/setup and choose to flash the backup rom again and this time i choose the flashbios 3.03, i did this cause i want that screen back so i could flash two bios in 512k banks 56 and 78. The flash went fine now when i boot with the power and eject button pressed i just get a black screen, the xbox lights up like a normal boot but i get no video just black screen. Please help

Firstly, are you 100% sure you have a 1.6b? If so, make sure you are using the standard AV cables and not component leads. Also keep pressing eject when you're on the blank screen and it may show up after a moment or two.

If this doesn't work I would try flashing FlashBIOS 3.0.1 and see if that displays the correct screen.

i am a not 100 percent sure that i have a V1.6b xbox, so i will check that but i do believe that when use to get the flashbios 3.03 before i screwed it up. i am using standard AV cable, a i will have to find flashbios 3.0.1 because i could not find it in the usually places, thnxs

ok i try the eject button thing and it didnt work, i cant find the flashbios3.0.1 in the usual place any idea were i could get it at? thnxs

3.0.1 should be on Xbins under _old

ok so i can boot with the power eject to flashbios 3.0.1 unauthorized but i can not select to any of the menu options and i checked my xbox version and it is a 1.6 so u were right should i be using 3.0.1? sorry again for so many posts

thnxs anyways but i just gave up on it cause i have a bios that boots fine and i dont really need another one, plus my chip was being retard no matter what i the protection switch set to when i boot to flashbios it said flashtype read-only
and yes i had both the switchs disabled so whatever

the switch on chips are sometimes lable wrong the led has to be red
heres a flashbios 3.0.1 download just need to google it to get it

red= unprotected

sorry for taking so long to post again but i got it to work almost perfectly the flashbios 3.0.1 u gave me a link to work like a charm but, every now and then when i boot to flashbios with eject and power, i have to unplug the controller from the port and plug it back in , in order to be able select one of the options on the menu or to be able to move the cursor up and down on the menu, any ideas why is does this, its not that big of a deal but i was just curious. thnxs again for the help

are you using a aftermaket controller if so then this is why
